| The Snugpak Softie Chrysalis Kilo is a lightweight 3 season (Comfort 0 degrees Celsius; Low -5 degrees Celsius) synthetic filled sleeping bag from Snugpak, includes a full-length Chrysalis baffle, for maximum versatility: the main zip can be done up in two ways The Snugpak Softie Chrysalis Kilo uses Snugpak’s Chrysalis baffle which has two zips associated with it: the outer one is for warmer conditions and produces a looser fit around your body which results in more space in the sleeping bag to move around in, but is less thermally efficient. The inner zip produces a more snug fit around your body (which is more thermally efficient) and allows the baffle to function as a draught excluder along the zip, plus with the ‘Kid Clips’ which are placed three quarters of the way down the sleeping bag, which when in use stop children sliding to the bottom of the sleeping bag, so it can be used by the younger members of the family too! So, two settings: a close snug fit for colder conditions and a looser fit for warmer ones, making the Snugpak Softie Chrysalis Kilo a decent synthetic sleeping bag: good warmth to weight ratio, high-wicking inner and good small pack size. • Outer: Paratex Micro. • Inner: Paratex Light. • Profiled ‘Mummy’ construction: 30% more loft than with other methods. • 3 Season use– Comfort 0 degrees Celsius; Low -5 degrees Celsius. • Softie Reflectatherm filling. • Neck baffle. • Chrysalis zip baffle. • Anatomically designed chisel foot. • Kid Clips. • Comes in left and right hand zipped versions.(choose a left hand if you’re right handed) • Includes compression stuff sack. • 220cm long x 82cm shoulder (in snug configuration). • Weight: 1.3kg. • Pack size: 18cm x 19cm.
