Stage two of Nikwax’s system. Designed for all waterproof garments without knitted wicking linings. Before you re-proof your outdoor clothing or footwear, you must first clean it. This is not a scam to get you to buy unnecessary products; it’s an integral part of the re-proofing process. After all you wouldn’t wax your car before you’d cleaned it now would you? Nikwax use a simple colour code system: Green for clean and Purple for proof.
