The LifeSystems Iodine Tablets are designed to treat contaminated drinking water, which can lead to serious stomach upsets, dehydration and other illness. When travelling in third world countries you may find the local water supply is contaminated and could contain Giardia and other Micro-Organisms found in water. The LifeSystems Iodine Tablets can kill these, making the water save to drink.
