Our crew like to get their hands dirty. Some of them tough it out in winter on Scotland’s best snow and ice routes, others travel the countryside seeking that perfect sequence of vertical moves. We have staff that cycle tour Europe, mountain bike the Scottish trails, others who simply enjoy long walks on the beach or taking the family on camping trips to the great natural areas of the UK. In essence, we enjoy the same things as you do.

	One time professional mountain bike racer, June now heads the Aktive8.com customer service department. Hailing from Surrey, England, June still finds time to go for the odd spin in Edinburgh, all be it at a more sedate pace with her children. 	Born and grazed in Edinburgh Iain is the captain at the helm, steering Aktive8.com onwards, always seeking new and exciting outdoor and cycle brands and occasionally slipping into his walking boots or strapping on his cycle helmet to help keep himself fit, young and handsome –well one out of three isn’t bad! 	Guy is responsible for the online content on the Aktive8.com site. He decided that the commute from Brighton was too much and now resides here in Edinburgh. Not as fit as he once was –due to a cycling injury- he still makes the occasional pilgrimage to Avimore and manages a rare visit to Glentress Forrest.
