  • Put a piece of paper under the front paws.
  • Lift opposite front paw so weight is firmly on the paw being measured.
  • Mark both sides of the weighted paw clearly on the paper at the widest point across the toes.
  • Let your dog take his paw away and measure the distance between your two marks.
  • Repeat with the back paws, and the other front paw, until you are sure you have accurately measured.
